Michael (Mike) Garland has volunteered with policing agencies for over three decades. He was the program administrator for Oceanside Community Safety for seven years and an RCMP Auxiliary Constable for five years. Mike continues to support Oceanside RCMP, facilitating public safety talks, site crime prevention inspections and weekly property crime reports.
Shane Worth is the Operations Support NCO at the Oceanside RCMP Detachment where he manages various support sections including missing persons, intimate partner violence, youth/schools, traffic, plainclothes investigations, community policing, training and media relations. Shane has spent all of his career in BC with the last 16 years in the Vancouver Island District. Shane has been at Oceanside Detachment since Fall 2021.
