The Nanoose Bay Activities & Recreation Society (NBARS) operates Nanoose Place Community Centre. The Society is a non-profit that receives no ongoing funding from any level of government.

NBARS is a registered Canadian charity #132305749RR0001.

Mission

To manage and maintain a multi-purpose space that provides opportunities for quality services and programs to enhance the well-being of individuals in the community and,

To facilitate and strengthen a sense of community amongst the residents of Nanoose Bay.

You are part of the decision making and can influence what happens at Nanoose Place
You can raise issues and vote at the AGM of the Society, stand for a position on the Board of Directors, and participate on any NBARS Committee
Your can help guide the programs and recreational activities of Nanoose Place.
Your membershihp allows your Society to speak with authority on behalf of the community and helps us when we apply for grants to support special initiatives.
The Society can contact you about new programs and services that might interest you.
Society members receive discounts at selected Nanoose Bay businesses.
