Opened in 1992 by the Nanoose Bay Lions Club and dedicated community members, Nanoose Place has been the thriving heart of the Nanoose Bay community for more than three decades.

The Community Centre is managed and operated by the Nanoose Bay Activities & Recreation Society, a committed volunteer board supported by part-time staff members.

The non-profit, Nanoose Bay Activities and Recreation Society (NBARS) operates Nanoose Place. Our operations are made possible through facility rentals and small, one-time grants, ensuring Nanoose Place remains accessible, community-driven, and rooted in local connection.

Eswyn's Alpine & Rock Garden was established in the fall of 2009 by a group of dedicated volunteers.
